Here's a contender for the prize. Dig that corn hat!
I love a good, rousing speech as much as the next girl, but what really gets me excited is convention delegate couture.
Let's face it, except for that last hour of speeches in prime time, political conventions these days are pretty dull. That's why, starting today, I'm going to start collecting photos from the floor of the Pepsi Center - like the one above from the Associated Press - and award the official and highly coveted "BoomerGirl Best Convention Get-Up" prize to the delegate with the most creative flair.
