Purple is not just for Prince anymore.
The music icon seems to have claimed the color as his own, but this season he's going to have to share. Declared as one of the hot hues for fall, it first showed up on the runways, then on the Emmy red carpet.
This rich color, with its association to kings and queens, can make anyone look and feel like royalty. From deep hues of amethyst to pearly shades of periwinkle, here are some ways you can look more like Marie Antoinette than a certain purple dinosaur.
